EVERYTHING
YOU NEED TO KNOW.
If your question isn't here — we're one message away.
Yes — completely. A lab-grown diamond is pure crystallised carbon, identical in composition, hardness, and brilliance to a mined diamond. The only difference is where it formed: inside the earth over billions of years, or inside a laboratory over a few weeks. Same atom. Same sparkle. Same forever.
Using CVD — Chemical Vapour Deposition. A tiny diamond seed is placed in a controlled chamber filled with carbon-rich gas. Under precise heat and pressure, carbon atoms layer onto the seed, growing a diamond atom by atom. The process mirrors how diamonds form naturally underground, just faster and without the mining.
Origin, and nothing else. Both are pure carbon. Both score 10 on the Mohs hardness scale. Both are graded by the same gemological laboratories on the same 4Cs. A trained gemologist cannot tell them apart with the naked eye — or even a loupe.
No. Not a jeweller, not a gemologist, not anyone across a table from you. Even advanced testing equipment requires specific spectroscopic analysis to distinguish origin — and the result is still the same answer: diamond. What people will notice is the cut, the clarity, and how it catches the light.
Forever is exactly the right word. Lab-grown diamonds do not fade, cloud, or degrade. They are the hardest material on earth — 10 on the Mohs scale — and they will look identical in fifty years as they do the day you receive them. Pure carbon, permanently.
Neither is accurate. Lab-grown diamonds are genuine lab-grown diamonds — pure crystallised carbon, identical in composition, hardness, and optical brilliance to mined stones. The GIA and IGI both classify them as real diamonds, not imitations or substitutes. The BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) requires they be disclosed as "lab-grown diamonds" — a standard we fully support, because transparency is part of what makes this choice the better one. The correct term isn't synthetic. It isn't fake. It's lab-grown diamond — and that's exactly what it says on your certificate.
Increasingly, yes. Global jewellery brands including Vrai, Kimai, and Courbet have built their entire lines around lab-grown diamonds — and found a loyal, design-conscious audience doing so. The shift is less a trend and more a recognition: that what makes a diamond beautiful is its light, its cut, its story — not where it was formed.
Because the cost of mining — the equipment, the land rights, the labour, the long chain of middlemen — doesn't exist. You're not paying less because the diamond is lesser. You're paying less because the process is smarter. The diamond itself is identical.
Most lab diamond brands were built by investors, not jewellers. ARTIAZ is rooted in a second-generation jewellery family with over 30 years of trade across India's diamond and gold ecosystem. Those relationships mean we access diamonds and precious metals at rates most new brands cannot. We pass that advantage directly to you.
Jewellery — mined or lab-grown — is not a financial investment. What ARTIAZ offers instead is more meaningful: our Lifetime Exchange programme, and a Lifetime Buyback at the prevailing market price at the time of return. Not a promise tied to your original purchase price — an honest, ongoing commitment to the value of your piece, whenever you choose to act on it.
Every ARTIAZ piece is crafted in solid 14K gold — Yellow, Rose, or White. We do not use gold-plated or vermeil metals. All gold is BIS hallmarked, meaning its purity has been independently verified and stamped by a government-certified assaying centre. When we say gold, we mean gold.
Every order is fully insured from our door to yours, shipped in tamper-proof packaging with real-time tracking. High-value orders require a valid government ID at delivery. Our 10-day return policy means if anything falls short, you have a clear path back. And if you'd like to speak with us before purchasing — +91 93557 94736, WhatsApp, anytime.
Every ARTIAZ diamond comes with an IGI (International Gemological Institute) certificate — the global standard for lab-grown diamond grading. The certificate documents carat weight, cut grade, colour, and clarity. Each diamond is also laser-inscribed with its unique certificate number, invisible to the naked eye but permanently on the girdle of the stone.
Visit igi.org, navigate to Report Check, and enter the certificate number printed on your document. The inscription number on the diamond's girdle matches the certificate exactly — it is your stone's permanent identity. If you need help, write to us at support@artiaz.com.
Cut, Colour, Clarity, and Carat weight. Cut determines how brilliantly the diamond reflects light — the most important of the four. Colour grades how white or colourless the stone is. Clarity measures inclusions. Carat is the weight. Every ARTIAZ diamond's 4C grades are documented on its IGI certificate.
Yes. BIS hallmarking guarantees that the gold purity stated on your jewellery — 14K — has been independently tested and verified by a government-certified assaying centre. Look for the BIS stamp on your piece. It is your proof.
We accept UPI, debit cards, and net banking. All transactions are processed through a secure, encrypted payment gateway. We do not offer Cash on Delivery or EMI options. Every order is prepaid and confirmed before dispatch.
Always. Buying fine jewellery is a considered decision — and we'd rather you ask every question you have than purchase with doubt. Reach us on WhatsApp at +91 93557 94736, Monday to Saturday, 10 AM to 6 PM. We'll walk you through any piece and answer anything the product page doesn't.
Yes. Bring your own design or adapt something from our existing collection — either way, the conversation starts on WhatsApp: +91 93557 94736. Custom and made-to-order pieces take 10 to 15 business days from confirmation and are crafted with the same standard as every piece we make.
Standard pieces are dispatched the same day your order is confirmed. Metro cities: 2 to 4 business days. Non-metro and Tier-2/3 towns: 5 to 7 business days. Custom pieces require 10 to 15 business days before dispatch. Once dispatched, you'll receive tracking via email and WhatsApp.
Every order leaves us tamper-proof sealed and fully insured. The outer packaging is discreet — no branding visible from the outside, nothing to signal what's inside. For high-value orders, a valid government ID is required at delivery. The risk remains ours until you've signed for it.
We currently ship across India only — every pin code, metro to Tier-3. If you're based outside India and want to place an order, write to us at support@artiaz.com and we'll see what we can do.
You have 10 days from the date of delivery to return a piece. It must be unworn and unused, returned with the original invoice, IGI certificate, and packaging. Refunds are processed within 8 to 10 business days of quality clearance. Customised, engraved, or made-to-order pieces are not eligible for return. Return pickup from your address costs Rs. 1,000 (insured).
Making charges are the cost of the craftsmanship — the labour, the setting, the finishing. Unlike the gold or the diamond, the making itself cannot be undone once done. This is the same policy at any serious jeweller in India. We believe in being transparent about it upfront, not as a surprise.
Your ARTIAZ piece can be exchanged at any point in the future — no time limit, no expiry. Exchange value: 100% of prevailing gold rate, plus 80% of diamond value for stones below 0.50ct, or 70% for stones of 0.50ct and above, less making charges and GST. Your jewellery retains meaningful, recoverable value as long as you own it.
If you ever want your money back — not an exchange, actual money — we offer that too. Buyback value follows the same structure as our Lifetime Exchange. Refund to your bank account within 8 to 10 business days of quality clearance. We are not aware of another lab-grown diamond brand in India that offers this in writing.
Yes, within 10 days of delivery with the original invoice and IGI certificate. The refund goes to the original buyer's payment method. The buyer will not be notified of the return — that detail stays between you and us.
Clean gently with warm soapy water and a soft brush once a month. Avoid wearing during exercise, swimming, or contact with harsh chemicals. Store each piece separately in the box it arrived in. The gold setting benefits from the same gentle treatment you'd give any fine jewellery.
All ARTIAZ customers receive one complimentary cleaning and inspection per year. If repair is needed — a loose setting, a prong check, a re-polish — we'll assess and quote before proceeding. Reach us at support@artiaz.com or +91 93557 94736.
